I uploaded a thumbnail and it doesn't fit the frame of the video player.

WellcomeMat scales all uploaded thumbnails to fit the video player as best as possible. However, if the image uploaded has a different aspect ratio than the player this results in black bars on either side of the image. The best way to make a thumbnail fit the player perfectly is upload an image that has the same aspect ratio, usually 16:9.
