How can I download my videos from YouTube?

YouTube doesn’t offer the ad free and SEO boosting experience that WellcomeMat does. So it is always a great idea to make sure that all of your videos are on WellcomeMat. But we understand that sometimes the original video files get lost and your only copy is on YouTube.

You can solve this problem by downloading all of your YouTube videos using a service called Google Takeout.

Navigate to Google Takeout by clicking here. Sign in with your Google account information.

Here you can create an archive of all of your data within google services. For our purposes we just need YouTube click the toggle next to YouTube. You can select whether you want to download all of your files or be more selective.



Takeout will now ask you to choose your archive's file type and whether you want to download it or save it in the cloud.



Once you have made your selections simply click 'Create Archive' and takeout will grab your data and you can download your videos to your computer.





Now you can upload your videos into wellcomemat and become a video pro.
